Oklahoma Conference Treasury Transition Announcement

After four and a half years of faithful service, Charles Reel, Treasurer of the Oklahoma Conference of Seventh‑day Adventists, has accepted a new call to serve as Vice President of Finance for Christian Record Services, Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska. His final day with the Oklahoma Conference will be June 30, 2026.

Christian Record Services, Inc. — historically known as Christian Record Braille Service and formally recognized as Christian Record Services for the Blind — continues its long tradition of providing accessible Christian materials and support for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Charles joined the Oklahoma Conference Treasury Department in late 2021, bringing steady leadership, financial integrity, and a deep commitment to mission. Under his guidance, the Conference strengthened its fiscal systems, supported local churches with clarity and care, and navigated complex transitions with grace and professionalism. His thoughtful stewardship and collaborative spirit have been a blessing to our entire Oklahoma church family.

Karla Reel served the Oklahoma Conference as Treasury Administrative Assistant.

His wife, Karla Reel, who has served as Treasury Administrative Assistant, will also be transitioning to Nebraska. Karla’s cheerful dedication and attention to detail have been essential to the daily operations of the Treasury office and to the many pastors, treasurers, and members she has assisted.
