Lawton Church Celebrates Friends and Family Day

The Lawton Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomed friends, families, and visitors on Sabbath, October 17, 2026, for a special Friends and Family Day filled with worship, fellowship, and music.

The day’s program featured guest speaker Pastor Buster Swoopes Jr., who shared an inspiring message during the morning worship service. Following a delicious fellowship lunch, Elder Charles Myers presented a look at the history of the church, reminding everyone of the faithfulness of God and the legacy of those who helped shape the congregation.

The afternoon concluded with a special concert featuring Pastor Buster Swoopes Sr. and friends, providing a beautiful opportunity to praise God through music.

More than just a special program, Friends and Family Day was an opportunity to strengthen relationships, reconnect with friends and visitors, and celebrate the blessing of belonging to God’s family.
