Giovanni Marin

Pastor

Pastor Gio Marin currently serves as the lead pastor of the Oklahoma City Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, where he is known for his heartfelt preaching, practical teaching, and deep commitment to walking with people through every stage of their spiritual journey. With a passion for both biblical truth and real-life transformation, Pastor Marin brings a unique blend of pastoral care, financial insight, and healthful living to his ministry.

Before stepping into full-time pastoral work, Pastor Marin earned his Master of Divinity and worked in the financial sector, where he held a Registered Investment Advisor license and became a Dave Ramsey Certified Financial Coach. While his financial background adds a helpful layer to his ministry, it’s his love for the gospel and his calling to shepherd God’s people that has guided his path from the beginning.

At Oklahoma City Central, Pastor Marin has focused on creating a Christ-centered, community-minded church where people can grow in faith, find healing, and live out their calling. His leadership style is rooted in service, humility, and the belief that true transformation happens when people encounter the love of Jesus and respond with a life of faithfulness. Whether preaching from the pulpit, counseling families, or organizing health and discipleship programs, Pastor Marin leads with prayer, purpose and heart.

Throughout his ministry, he has witnessed countless stories of changed lives — from individuals discovering new life in Christ, to families experiencing financial freedom and renewed purpose. He has also launched two podcasts centered on theology, health, and fitness, reflecting his belief that spiritual, physical, and emotional health are all part of the Christian journey.

Outside of the church, Pastor Marin is passionate about health and wellness. He weightlifts six days a week, enjoys rucking and long walks, and follows a fully plant-based lifestyle. He also finds joy in reading widely and golfing whenever he can — both for the challenge and the quiet reflection it offers.

He and his wife, a physician, share a deep commitment to faith, family, and intentional living. Together, they homeschool their three daughters — Hannah, Leah, and Emily — and treasure their time spent learning, exploring nature, and growing together as a family.

Whether in the pulpit, at the gym, or sitting across from a church member in need of prayer, Pastor Marin’s mission remains the same: to point people to Jesus and equip them to live lives marked by prayer, faith, purpose, and grace. His heart for ministry continues to shape Oklahoma City Central into a place where people not only believe, but belong — and become.
