Dominick Alipoon

District Pastor

Dominick Alipoon has dedicated the past seven years to pastoral ministry, serving churches in Woodward, Shattuck, Alva, Cherokee, Bartlesville, Nowata, and Ponca City. His journey into ministry began when he first heard God's voice at the age of five, and over time, that calling deepened. A pivotal moment came during a conversation with a friend, where they marveled at the beauty of God in the Bible. This awe-inspiring realization sparked Dominick’s passion for helping others see how truly beautiful God is.

Dominick’s faith journey has been one of discovery, revealing to him that God cares deeply about people, and that the church exists to show God’s love, not to impose standards. His favorite Bible passage, Micah 6:6-8, guides his ministry. It emphasizes mercy, justice, and growing in intimacy with God, which is central to how Dominick interacts with his congregation.

When he’s not pastoring, Dominick enjoys creating culinary delights, with a current preference for pho, falafel wraps, Bahn-mi, and Pad Thai. He loves to see the joy on people's faces when they taste his cooking. His free time is also filled with playing the ukulele, woodworking, reading, and being active in sports like basketball, disc golf, biking, and running. He’s also fascinated by technology and enjoys exploring its intuitive advancements.

At home, life with his wife and two young children is, in his words, “a beautiful, hot mess.” He shares a funny memory of his three-year-old daughter trying to cook a banana seasoned with pepper while his newborn son cooed happily. It’s a chaotic, joyful household, but Dominick wouldn’t change it for the world.

If Dominick could do anything in ministry with full support, he would transform a church property into a community-centered campus. His vision includes service-oriented projects like a garage for car repairs and multipurpose rooms for classes. Worship services would be radically different, designed to be engaging and community-focused, with round tables instead of pews to encourage discussion, connection, and meaningful engagement with God and each other.
