By this summer all cabins are on schedule to be completely remodeled — from the floors to the insulation in the ceilings.
Each cabin now features new walls, updated and improved bathrooms, upgraded lighting, additional electrical outlets, and new durable flooring throughout. We are especially proud that all cabins have been spray-foam insulated, which will greatly improve comfort and energy efficiency during the summer season. We are also grateful to share that the company completing this work is made up of local Seventh-day Adventist members.
Another major accomplishment has been the improvement of the access road to our sewer lagoon ponds at the back of the camp. The road had been severely washed out, so we partnered with a local company to enlarge and upgrade it, allowing better access and long-term maintenance of these important systems.
A third major improvement — one that everyone attending our camp meetings will appreciate — is the installation of new high-capacity air conditioning units in the auditorium. Our previous units, which were over 20 years old, could no longer keep up with demand. The new system will help ensure a comfortable environment for all this summer.
Looking ahead, another exciting addition will be enhanced internet service to support camp meeting streaming and online connectivity. We look forward to sharing more details when the time is right.
