welcome Amneris Martinez as HR Director

Amneris Martinez brings more than 13 years of combined administrative and human resources (HR) experience to her ministry within Seventh-day Adventist denominational work. Her career is deeply rooted in service, mission, and a passion for strengthening organizational culture across all levels of the church. 

Amneris’ journey in denominational service began at her local church, where she discovered a profound love for serving others and faithfully served in various capacities, including Church Treasurer, Church Clerk, Children’s Ministries Director, and Sabbath School Teacher. These early leadership roles helped shape her understanding of church operations and nurtured her commitment to supporting the mission of the church through effective and compassionate leadership. 

In her professional roles, Amneris has played a key part in helping build and strengthen a Human Resources department, contributing to the development of essential policies, procedures, and supportive systems. Known as a “forms guru,” she works tirelessly to create streamlined processes that enhance efficiency, clarity, and service to employees. Through her bilingual skill set, she actively helps bridge language barriers within the growing Hispanic community, ensuring that communication is accessible, supportive, and inclusive. 

Her work has enhanced employee relations, promoted organizational clarity, and fostered a mission-centered workplace environment. Her ability to balance organizational goals with genuine care for people has made her a trusted and valued resource among employees and leaders. 

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Amneris finds her greatest joy in her family. She is the proud mother of an adult daughter and two teenage daughters, and the doting grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter. Her family is her greatest motivation, supported by parents she deeply cherishes for their guidance and unwavering love. Outside the office, she treasures meaningful moments with her loved ones and values every opportunity to celebrate life with them. 

Guided by her commitment to excellence, service, and faith, Amneris continues to focus on supporting ministry, empowering employees, and strengthening the overall effectiveness of the denominational workforce.
