Tulsa Adventist AcademY is hiring for two positions

First, we seek a friendly, organized, and dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. This position plays an important role in supporting the daily operations of the school by serving as a welcoming presence for students, parents, staff, and visitors.



Responsibilities may include:


• Answering phones and directing calls.


• Greeting and assisting visitors.


• Maintaining attendance and student records.


• Data entry and record management.


• Assisting with billing and tuition-related tasks.


• Providing general office support as needed.

The ideal candidate will:


• Be organized, dependable, and detail-oriented.


• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Be comfortable learning and using Microsoft Office and other office applications.


• Be able to work independently while also functioning as part of a team.


• Support the mission and values of Tulsa Adventist Academy and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.


• Previous school office or administrative experience is valued but not required.



• Bilingual abilities are valued but not required. Fluency in English and either Spanish or Zomi is appreciated as we serve a diverse school community.


Schedule:

This position is expected to work a minimum of two full days per week, with the possibility of up to three days per week. Specific workdays can be arranged based on the needs of the school and the availability of the successful candidate.

School office hours are:


• Monday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM


• Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM

After School Care Supervisor


Secondly, Tulsa Adventist Academy is seeking a caring, dependable, and responsible individual to serve as our After School Care Supervisor.



This position is responsible for providing a safe, supervised, and welcoming environment for students who remain on campus after the regular school day has ended. Students may range from Pre-K through 12th grade, depending on daily needs.


Responsibilities include:


• Supervising students after school.


• Maintaining a safe and orderly environment.


• Coordinating student pickup with parents and guardians.


• Monitoring student behavior and well-being.


• Communicating appropriately with parents and school staff regarding student needs.

The ideal candidate will:


• Enjoy working with children and young people.


• Demonstrate patience, responsibility, and good judgment.


• Be dependable and punctual.


• Be able to supervise students while maintaining a positive environment.


• Support the mission and values of Tulsa Adventist Academy and the Seventh-day Adventist Church.


• Bilingual abilities are valued but not required. Fluency in English and either Spanish or Zomi is appreciated as we serve a diverse school community.


• Previous experience working with children or in a supervisory role is valued but not required.


• CPR and First Aid certification are valued but not required.


Schedule:

After School Care is offered each school day and begins at 3:30 PM, Fridays at 12:30 PM. 

Applicants should indicate the days they are available and the latest time they are able to remain on campus. While the exact schedule can be tailored to the availability of the successful candidate and the needs of the school, availability until approximately 5:00 PM–5:30 PM is generally sufficient for the program.


Compensation for this position is based on hours worked, and weekly hours may vary depending on student attendance and pickup schedules.
