Solomon says, “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you will find it after many days” (Ecclesiastes 11:1 NKJV). For those churches who record their services and put them online, you may not know how your "casting on the waters" is doing. Here is a story to encourage those churches to keep going or start sharing through digital media.
Pastor Mang was contacted a few weeks ago by a woman named Cing Khan Nuam. She is from Myanmar and speaks the same language as our Zomi community in Guymon. During the first COVID lockdown Cing Khan Nuam was looking for some Adventist services in her language to listen to and she found the Guymon Adventist Church. She has been enjoying the services ever since, but she didn’t stop there. Cing decided that her family and friends back in Myanmar should watch, too. She sent money to pay for her family and friends to have internet and shared with them the services that the Guymon Church was providing online. Because of her sharing, some of the people she has been sharing with have been baptized. I praise God that the work of sharing has brought His love to those who did not know Him before.
To all churches who do share their services online, you may not find out until heaven how much of an impact you are making but you are. May God bless all our ministries to share His love to others.
