Harold Johnson accepted the Lord as his personal Savior through baptism on March 30, 2024 at the Shattuck SDA Church.
Harold was drawn to the Lord through helping with Ellis County Food Bank ministry and his connection with Pat and Marion Stock, seeing Jesus in Marion. After this he connected with others in our church and began studying with Pastor Ben. He did online Bible studies and in-person meetings, discipleship, and study. He started attending church and asking how to connect more with Jesus. He struggled with tobacco use but after praying, God took away his desire for cigarettes. The next day he gave them up and has been tobacco-free for several months now.
Harold’s sister attended his baptism with her friends. After the service she confessed she wants to begin studies with us. Her friends appreciated the service today too and some will join us in studies, too. What a blessing!
We have a reason to rejoice in God and to pray for more victories through Jesus in the days to come.
