Ten Oklahoma congregations—Alva, Bartlesville, Choctaw, Garnett Spanish, Hugo, Lakeside Spanish, Myanmar Adventist Fellowship, Okeene, Sallisaw English and the Sallisaw Emmanuel Spanish Seventh-day Adventist Church—have each received, or will soon be presented with, a framed 30” x 40” Nathan Greene painting titled The Blessed Hope.

This iconic artwork, depicting a Christian interpretation of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, now serves as a spiritual focal point for members and visitors alike. The original painting graces the atrium of the General Conference office. In addition, all our World Division offices have a giclee of this art in their office buildings, as well as many union and conference offices. For many Seventh-day Adventists who long for Christ’s soon return, the reproductions of this painting offer a visual reminder of the promise that anchors their faith.
Dan Houghton, president of Hart Classic Editions, invited the Oklahoma Conference leadership to select ten smaller churches to receive this special edition gift. This generosity ensures that smaller congregations across the state can display a message of hope, anticipation, and encouragement at the heart of their worship spaces.
