“Seen and Known by God”: Pastor's Wife GETS RE-BAPTIZED

When Felicity Cowin walked into the Encountering God revival series at the Claremore Seventh‑day Adventist Church, she believed she was simply there to support her husband. What she didn’t expect was that God had quietly arranged a divine appointment for her own heart.

From May 29 to June 6, evangelist Nemaia Folotoga led the congregation through a powerful series of messages centered on the character of Jesus and the transforming power of His grace. For Felicity—who serves alongside her husband in pastoral ministry—the series became a turning point she never anticipated.

“I had no idea how badly I needed these messages for myself.”

As a pastor’s wife, Felicity had been carrying silent burdens: seasons of loneliness, feelings of inadequacy, and the quiet exhaustion that comes from always being strong for others. Pastor Nemaia’s raw testimony and his passionate love for Jesus broke through those layers with unexpected clarity.

Night after night, God continued to impress her heart. By the final Friday evening, Felicity sensed a clear call: it was time to publicly reaffirm her faith through re-baptism. Quietly, without announcement, she stepped forward—becoming the fourth baptismal candidate, a surprise to the congregation.

On Sabbath, she entered the baptismal waters alongside three siblings from the Meinhardt family. And in a moment she describes as an honor beyond words, she was baptized by her husband.

For Felicity, the experience was not about starting over, but about being restored. It was a declaration that God’s grace reaches even the places we hide, even the places we think are too weary or too worn to matter.
