Ribbon-cutting Ceremony Consecrates Sanctuary

Ten years after the establishment of the Garnett Spanish group, the inaugural ceremony of the Garnett congregation’s sanctuary commenced on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., with a ribbon cutting ceremony. This momentous occasion was a testament to the collective efforts of the entire church, fulfilling a long-held aspiration. The temple stands as a physical manifestation of God’s love, inviting countless individuals to enter the kingdom of heaven.

Members extended sincere gratitude to Pastor Max Elvira for his unwavering dedication, thanked Pastor Moises Kindelan for his unwavering commitment, and cheered Pastor Giesi Herrera for his unwavering enthusiasm while leading the congregation to achieve this remarkable goal.

May the divine name of our God be glorified, and we extend our blessings upon our brothers and sisters within the Hispanic community, wishing them abundant growth and prosperity.

By Luis Prieto, Hispanic Coordinator at the Oklahoma Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
