Myanmar Adventist Fellowship Celebrates New Sanctuary

Within just two years, Myanmar Adventist Fellowship has witnessed God’s remarkable leading. Beginning as a company worshiping in a rented facility, the congregation, by God’s grace, was able to secure its own church property and later was organized as an official church. Most recently, the church completed and dedicated a new sanctuary, marking another significant milestone in its journey.

The grand opening and dedication of the new 70-by-50-foot sanctuary took place on January 17, 2026. The project also included a new parking lot for approximately 40 vehicles, new driveways, fencing, a secure gate, and a church signboard near the entrance, enhancing both accessibility and visibility for the community.

All conference administrators were present, including Daniel Ortega, Conference President, and Elder Rigacci from the Union. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was jointly led by Ortega, Rigacci, and Local Pastor Mang Lian, who cut the ribbon together.

The dedication prayer was offered by Nathan Shires, Executive Secretary of the Conference. More than 300 people attended the celebration, followed by a fellowship dinner.

As the church rejoices in God’s blessings, members continue to pray that the new building will serve as a center of ministry and outreach to the surrounding community, sharing the love of Christ and the hope of the gospel.
