Multiple Ministries Lead Tulsa Couple to Baptism

TULSA, Okla. - The baptism of James and Carmen at Adventist Fellowship recently highlighted how multiple ministries can work together to lead people to Christ.

The couple first connected with the congregation through outreach efforts launched during the Pentecost 2025 evangelistic series. The church's transportation ministry, started as part of that campaign, helped them begin attending services regularly.

Carmen was also introduced to the church through the Tulsa Community Service Center and later attended the Voice of Prophecy's Final Empire seminar. Following those initial connections, both she and James participated in ongoing Bible studies and continued growing in their faith.

After months of study and spiritual growth, the couple made the decision to be baptized last week.

Church leaders say their journey demonstrates the impact of evangelism, community services, transportation ministries, public evangelistic meetings, and personal Bible studies working together to reach people for Christ.

Stephen Adewunmi, pictured on the platform during the baptismal service, played a significant role in encouraging and mentoring them as they prepared for their decision.
