On September 21, 2022, the board members of the Lawton Seventh-day Adventist Church voted to establish a Pathfinder club. During the month, the club leaders participated in Leadership training at Wewoka Woods Adventist Center. We were a part of an Induction Service with our area clubs at Arbuckle View Seventh-day Adventist Church and we participated in a Community Service project and had a Bible study focused on the book of John. Our Pathfinders are studying John this year for the upcoming Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE).
We gave a presentation about Pathfinders before the Lawton church the following Sabbath to encourage participation in the club. We have had a positive start to our club with three members currently and look forward to a fun year. This is a new endeavor for our church, so please keep us in your prayers.
