Grand Lake Christian School back to school Event

Tulsa, Okla. — A steady stream of families flowed through the grounds of Grand Lake Christian School on Thursday evening as the church and school community hosted a back‑to‑school outreach event offering free backpacks, school supplies, and family activities. The gathering, designed to support local families and strengthen neighborhood relationships, drew children, parents, and community members from across the area.

The outreach featured tables filled with notebooks, crayons, glue sticks, and other essentials, allowing families to select the supplies their children needed for the upcoming school year. After receiving their items, guests were invited to explore the campus, enjoy nachos, and play on a large slide generously loaned by Tulsa Adventist Academy. Organizers expressed appreciation to Larry, whose support helped make the evening especially memorable for the children.

Beyond meeting practical needs, the event created meaningful opportunities for connection. Several attendees expressed interest in learning more about both, and organizers reported that as many as six prospective students may enroll as a direct result of the outreach.
