Friendship Sabbath Brings Joy, Visitors, and Renewed Connections at Woodward

The Woodward Seventh‑day Adventist Church experienced a special blessing this Sabbath as 14 visitors joined the congregation, along with several returning members who had been missed. The warm, welcoming spirit of Friendship Sabbath created an atmosphere where guests and members alike felt embraced and valued.

Special music was provided by Pastor Benjamin Burkhardt’s daughters, who shared a beautiful song that deeply touched the congregation and set a worshipful tone for the service.

Following the service, the church hosted a small visitors’ potluck, which became a meaningful time of fellowship. Guests, members, and returning friends lingered together, sharing stories, reconnecting, and building relationships that strengthen the church family. The meal was simple, but the blessing was rich — a reminder that hospitality is one of the most powerful forms of ministry.

This Sabbath served as a quiet testimony to the ongoing outreach efforts happening across our churches. Each invitation, each act of kindness, and each prayer is bearing fruit.
