The Oklahoma Conference of Seventh-day Adventists prayer retreat is just around the corner and we would love to have you there! Early bird discounted registration has been extended to Oct 13, 2025, but don't wait to register.
We are especially excited to offer an exciting opportunity this year to youth and young adults aged 12-36! This age group will receive a special event scholarship for the discounted price of $40 for the entire weekend!

We strongly encourage families to attend the prayer retreat together. The retreat is designed to be a family-friendly environment that supports spiritual growth for all ages.
There will be a separate sabbath school program for children ages 4-11 presented by Sonia Canó, Southwestern Union Children’s Ministries Director and Oklahoma Conference Children’s Ministries Director, Lisa Lane Amukaya. So spread the word and invite your friends! 📣
The retreat will be at Wewoka Woods Adventist Center on Oct. 31-Nov. 2nd!
Our speaker will be Anil Kanda, VP of Ministries for Central California conference, host of Hope at Night and author of the recently published book, Apologetics-Rethinking God.
In a recent interview, Anil shared the following:
“One of my passions is to see more prayers for the Holy Spirit. I want to see more “latter rain” prayer groups happening at multiple churches. Hopefully, we have a prayer ministry leader we can work with who shares this belief. Without these prayer groups—people praying specifically for the Holy Spirit in our churches—nothing we do is going to get us far. We’ll keep doing what we’ve always been doing. I truly believe, and I’ve seen in my own ministry, that when there’s much prayer, there’s much power. To effect change, it’s going to happen when we have latter rain prayer groups taking place everywhere in our conference.”
