Despite the rainy start, with a downpour of over 2 inches, 502 Pathfinders from across Oklahoma came to the Pathfinder Camporee at Wewoka Woods Adventist Center Oct 24-26. This is a historic, record-breaking turnout (prior attendance was in the 300's) at Pathfinder Camporees in Oklahoma! The skies cleared up around Sabbath School time and campers dried out on Sabbath.
Significant moments:
During the alter call, 30 Pathfinders embraced Christ and stepped forward to show they’re ready to start studying for baptism with their local clubs.
The Youth Heritage Center (Pathfinder, Adventure & Youth Museum) officially opened at Wewoka Woods Adventist Center.
Oklahoma Conference held its first "Pathfinder Marching Drill Instruction Showcase" competition. Five clubs demonstrated their marching skills.
This was the best-attended Oklahoma Conference Pathfinder Camporee to date with 502 Pathfinders and staff in attendance out of the 600 actually that registered.
