A Freedom Worth Celebrating

On Independence Day, Natanael chose the greatest freedom of all—surrendering his life to Jesus and entering the waters of baptism at Lakeside Spanish Seventh‑day Adventist Church in Oklahoma City. Surrounded by family, friends, and a joyful congregation, Natanael declared his desire to live a new life empowered by the Holy Spirit.

Adding to the celebration, his wife Carolina—one of our music leaders—lifted her voice in song during the baptism service. Her excitement was unmistakable, and her music made the moment even more meaningful for everyone present.

Carolina and Natanael also had the joy of witnessing their granddaughter being dedicated to God today.

Her parents, Moisés Pérez and Karol Martínez, are making plans to get baptized as well.

The baby girl’s name is Ailyn Pérez, born in April 26, 2026.

It was a beautiful reminder that true freedom is found in Christ, and we rejoice with Natanael and Carolina as they begin this new chapter together.
