Young Adult Ministry

Growing Young Adventists

Our desire is to cheer, support, and resource congregations who desire the vitality of our young people and the great relationships they bring. We also recognize the reality that budget for “resourcing” can be at times, let’s admit it. . . shoestring.

Next Steps

The Next Steps course is for the purpose of understanding the findings from the Adventist Millennial Study conducted by the Barna Group, and empowering a research-informed, relevant approach to young adult ministry.

GODencounters is a movement of young adults who are wholeheartedly seeking a 24/7 experience of GOD, recklessly living for His renown.

Growing Young

Here you will find a collection of free downloads to accompany your reading of Growing Young. You’ll discover ways to share the insights, stories, and strategies with your friends, colleagues, and wider congregation. The journey to growing young begins here!

Growing With

Growing With features brand-new research and stories from remarkable families, offering proven and practical answers to parents navigating the tough new questions emerging with today’s teenagers and young adults.

Introducing three essential strategies to nurture family faith and relationships, Growing With is a parent’s guide for journeying with their kid from adolescence through emerging adulthood.

71.5 Magazine

71.5 is a Seventh-day Adventist youth culture magazine. Dedicated to empowering the youth to embrace all their God-given gifts in his service, our publication is written, photographed, and submitted almost entirely by young adults, for young adults. We strive to connect all the youth in the Southeast by highlighting not only those issues directly tied to faith but also those that do so indirectly. These topics include health & wellness, art, music, and the all social aspects of our daily walk with Christ.

Humans of Adventism

Humans of Adventism is as simple as it sounds: just a little slice of the internet focusing on Adventist humans. Inspired by Brandon Stanton's Humans of New York, HoA is a storytelling platform that shares the experiences and perspectives of the Adventist people. Unlike Humans of New York, however, all of the photos we use are provided by the person featured. This allows us to reach out beyond our own neighborhood for a more diverse set of stories.

Project: ReFresh

Project ReFRESH is an online venture to:

Communicate - a platform for participation and collaboration; conversation and communion.

Relate - content that's both biblical and relatable.

Motivate - in the secular affairs of "adulting" or the daily struggle of your spiritual walk, we all could use some motivation.

The Haystack

Adventists love haystacks. Even if they don’t, they are well aware of what one is. This site’s goal is perfectly illustrated by the haystack.

Haystacks are a compilation of many ingredients and often many people’s contribution. We want this site to be a central posting site for Adventists with videos that they want to network and share with other Adventists (or anyone who visits). Also, this site will be producing Video’s as well, so we plan to bring stuff to the table too!

We hope this site becomes a media hub for Adventists. Our dream is that this site will help us with our community to build up the kingdom of God, let us know more about each other, and become vulnerable but positive and supportive. So, enjoy a good haystack on us!

iBelieve Bible

iBelieve is a blog by and for youth and young adults in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Our content deals with issues of faith and real life through the lens of the Bible, for the sake of people living in the post-modern world. iBelieve is about asking the hard questions, fostering honest conversations, and coming to a more profound understanding of who we are.
